Have fun!
This is your final chance to grab these pieces in their current form, so don’t miss out! I have some other plans for the future, but wanted to give you a last opportunity to get one of these prints 👩🎨
In addition to the last available prints, I am also offering original artworks for those looking to add something truly unique to their home. I hope you find something that speaks to you! 💕
I have always loved nerd-stuff. Growing up immersed in the worlds of Star Trek, the Ghibli movies and Doctor Who, listening to “Die 3 ???” on repeat, and playing Mario on my Nintendo DS, I discovered a love for exploring new fantasy realms- and wow, that’s a feeling I never wanna miss again.
Equally important to me is art; I’ve been painting since childhood, captivated by the creativity of various artists.
So, what’s the most natural way to blend these two passions?
I combine them!
In my painting series, “Nerd Makes Art,” I reimagine iconic artworks by infusing them with elements of pop culture. For instance, Van Gogh’s cypress transforms into Howl’s Moving Castle, and Dali’s elephant becomes an AT-AT. But I want to take it even further.
Instead of randomly mixing different pieces, I plan to merge the works of a single artist with a specific genre. Exciting, right? My first series will be a fusion of Van Gogh and Ghibli, and that’s something you don’t wanna miss.
My first crossover series blends the artistry of Van Gogh with elements inspired by Ghibli. I plan to create 5 to 7 paintings, all in their original sizes! You can follow my progress on YouTube and Instagram—feel free to check it out! I’m aiming to complete this series by September, and I would love to showcase all the pieces together in an exhibition, but that’s a goal for the future.
… that I also make music? I’ve been playing the piano for more than 15 years. I had several performances at my university where I showed my own compositions and mash-ups. When I learn a song I don’t just play it how it was composed. I love improvising and adding some spice to it.
A few years ago I started composing. My next EP with 3 tracks will be released soon.
For some of my pieces sheet music is available. You can download it for free here:
